It’s day four and as is the norm for a Pulling Together Canoe Journey. There has been unexpected challenges that have resulted in amazing conclusions. Day 3 was to be on the water from Sechelt Nation to Gibsons. The winds and water had a different plan. After portaging our canoes and landing in Gibsons for our protocol. The Pulling Together Canoe Family was invited back to the Sechelt big house. After a meal, songs, and cultural sharing the day ended with amazing stories of our visit to the Sechelt Nation.
Day 4 our first real pull was from Gibsons to Camp Potlatch. A beautiful start on the ocean. The canoe families travelled well together. We are now spending some downtime one in a picture perfect and sacred place. If you want to see the pictures and daily progress this years journey.
