Serena Steel’s Biography: My name is Serena Steel, and I am from Simpcw First Nation. I am 14 years young, and have just finished grade 8, now going on to grade 9. I am a year ahead in math, which is one of the reasons that education is so important to me. I am interested in art, photography, and music. I also enjoy participating in cultural activities such as drumming and singing. My friends, family, education, and culture are all very important to me. I am proud of all that I am, and everything I am yet to become.
